links
Affiliate marketing is one of the most popular ways of making money on
the internet. You place a company's links or banners on your pages and
every time a customer lands on the company's website coming from your
site through your affiliate link and buys something, you will earn a

contextual advertising (PPC ads)
A great way of earning money with a website is to incorporate PPC ads
from the Google AdSense network. They are contextual
advertisements where you have to insert an HTML code into your website
and it will display textual or banner advertisements matching the theme
of your site. PPC stands for pay-per-click and as the name reveals you
get paid for each clicking of the ad by a visitor. The click rates vary
depending on the keywords that the ad is associated with. (Google
AdSense ads are based on keywords and are served on a publisher's
website depending on the keywords the site is optimized for.) Of
course, AdSense is not the only one contextual advertising network, but
it is the most wide spread and well known.

CPM ads
This is similar to displaying PPC ads. CPM stands for Cost per Mille,
and it refers to the cost for 1,000 impressions. When displaying CPM
ads you get paid according to the number of impressions (i.e., page
views) that the ads displayed on your site will generate.
A site that generates 100,000 page views monthly displaying an
advertising banner with a $1 CPM, will earn $100 monthly. CPM
rates vary with the different networks. You can get as low as $0,10 and
as high as

banner advertising
Create your pages with potential ad spaces on them where you can
display paid banner ads of external advertisers. After your site has
taken up and attracts a good number of visitors in your niche, charge
money for placing banner ads on your site. If your website is rich in
content or has a readership that is important for advertisers they will
be willing to pay for having their ads on your site.

for columns / events
This model works very well in the print media and lately also on
websites. If your site or blog has different sections or columns that
specialize in a given subject, you could find companies as sponsors for
the sections. Basically it's a form of displaying the company's banner

the possibility to target a more specific audience.

RSS technology is adopted by a large number of websites and blogs and

already has its own publisher network, and you can sign-up to start

has also introduced an RSS feed ad option as well, with a PPC scheme.
To create RSS feeds for a static (HTML) websites you can use the
software at FeedForAll.com or advanced webmasters might give a go to

earn money. Websites and blogs that offer valuable content to their
